AutoVoxis Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using AutoVoxis (website and desktop program), you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

To subscribe to a paid plan, you must be 18 years of age or older, or have the authorization of your parent or legal guardian.

2. The Service

AutoVoxis is a Windows program that dubs videos and audio into 23 languages using your own cloned voice. You record your voice in the program (up to 5 languages per voice), and AutoVoxis transcribes the original speech, translates it, generates the new speech in your voice, checks each dubbed segment by listening back to it, keeps the background music, and puts together the final file. It also generates .srt subtitles and lets you run several dubs at once.

Available languages: Arabic, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, and Turkish.

The work is done on your computer. Your videos, your audio files, and the recordings of your voice are not uploaded to our servers: transcription, voice cloning, speech generation, and final assembly all run on your graphics card. Only the transcribed text of each segment is sent for automatic translation. What is sent, to whom, and how long it is kept are described in the Privacy Policy.

Requirements. The program runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). An NVIDIA graphics card is recommended. Dubbing speed depends on your computer.

3. Plans

Plans currently available (current prices are on the website's plans page):

• Free: up to 10 dubbed minutes per cycle
• Basic: up to 30 dubbed minutes per cycle
• Pro: up to 90 dubbed minutes per cycle
• Premium: up to 240 dubbed minutes per cycle
• Infinity: unlimited dubbed minutes per cycle

How minutes are counted. Each plan's limit is measured in dubbed minutes per cycle, adding up all languages. For example, dubbing a 10-minute video into 3 languages uses 30 minutes.

Limits. The cycle runs from the date of subscription (or of the last renewal) until the next renewal. Upon renewal, the count resets to zero, and unused minutes do not carry over to the following cycle. Once the limit is reached, new dubs are blocked until renewal or until an upgrade.

Free Plan. It is free of charge, does not require a card, and includes 10 dubbed minutes per cycle, with no watermark. The Free cycle lasts 30 days and renews automatically at no cost. In Brazil, one Free account is allowed per CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID). Anyone who chooses a paid plan and does not complete payment is automatically placed on the Free plan.

Paid plans. The Basic, Pro, Premium, and Infinity plans have higher minute limits per cycle. The price and limit of each plan are on the website's plans page.

4. Price, Currency, and Billing

• Currency. The currency is set by the country you enter when signing up: Brazil in Brazilian reais (R$), the European Union in euros (€), and all other countries in US dollars (US$). It stays fixed on your account, and all subsequent charges are made in it. Your bank may charge IOF (Brazilian tax), a conversion fee, or an international fee, according to your agreement with it.
• Payment. Paid plans are monthly and charged to your credit card through Stripe. The first payment is made at subscription and the plan is activated immediately.
• Automatic renewal. The plan renews every month, on the same day as the subscription, with an automatic charge to the card on file, until you cancel. We send an email notice one day before each renewal.
• Card. You can change your card at any time in your account dashboard. Subsequent charges will be made to the new card.
• Price changes. Prices may change. Any change is announced by email in advance and only applies from your next renewal. The cycle you have already paid for always keeps the terms you subscribed under.

5. Renewal Failure

• Declined payment. If the renewal charge is declined, we notify you by email and try again the next day. If the second attempt also fails, the paid plan ends and your account moves to the Free plan. You do not lose your account or your data, and you can subscribe again whenever you want.
• Confirmation required by the bank. Some banks (especially in Europe) require the cardholder to confirm the renewal charge. In that case, we send you an email with a link so you can confirm the payment in your bank's app or by SMS. You have 7 days to confirm, and your access remains active during that period. Without confirmation, the account moves to the Free plan.

6. Upgrades and Plan Changes

• Upgrade. You can move to a more expensive plan at any time from the dashboard. The difference between the monthly price of the new plan and that of the current one is charged immediately. The new limits apply right away and the renewal date does not change. Subsequent renewals are charged at the new plan's price.
• Cheaper plan. To move to a cheaper plan, cancel your current subscription and, when the paid period ends, subscribe to the plan you want.

7. Cancellation, Right of Withdrawal, and Refunds

• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in your account dashboard, with no penalty. Cancellation stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Until that date, you can reactivate the subscription from the dashboard itself.
• Right of withdrawal. On your first subscription to a paid plan, you can withdraw within 7 days (Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, art. 49) and get the amount paid refunded, by asking through support or at contato@autovoxis.com.br. Customers in the European Union have 14 days, in accordance with European consumer law.
• Refunds. Outside the right of withdrawal, there is no refund, full or prorated, for unused periods when you cancel, upgrade, or delete your account. Charges made in error on our part are always refunded.

8. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
• The account is personal: do not share, resell, or transfer access to third parties.
• You guarantee that you hold the rights to the videos and audio you dub with AutoVoxis, or have permission from whoever holds those rights.
• You are solely responsible for the content you dub and for anything you publish or distribute afterwards.
• Using the service for illegal purposes, or with pirated content or content that infringes the rights of third parties, is prohibited.
• AutoVoxis may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Voice Cloning and Acceptable Use

• You may only clone your own voice, or the voice of another person who has given express permission for it. If you clone someone else's voice, it is up to you to obtain and keep that permission.
• Using a cloned voice to impersonate someone, deceive or scam people, commit fraud, spread disinformation, or produce content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or that violates someone's privacy, image, or other rights is prohibited.
• When there are signs of prohibited use, we may suspend or terminate the account and cooperate with the authorities when required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

AutoVoxis is provided "as is". We work to keep it running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that automatic transcription, translation, or dubbing will be perfect in every case. Review the result before publishing it. We are not responsible for how you use your dubs or for the loss of files on your computer: we recommend keeping copies of your original files.

11. Account Deletion

• Deleting your account is different from canceling your subscription: it is the permanent closure of the account, a right guaranteed by the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) and the GDPR.
• From the account dashboard, deletion is immediate and irreversible. Through the deletion page, it is completed within 3 days. In all cases, charges stop as soon as the request is made.
• If you have an active paid plan, the remaining time is forfeited and there is no refund (except under the right of withdrawal in section 7).
• Personal data is anonymized as described in the Privacy Policy. Cloned voices and files stored on your computer are not affected by account deletion, and you can delete them yourself in the program.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Significant changes are announced by email, and the date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription at any time.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the District of São Paulo, SP, Brazil, are chosen as the venue, without prejudice to the consumer's right to file a claim in the courts of their place of residence and to the protection guaranteed by the mandatory consumer laws of the country where they live.
